Narendra Modi

Narendra Modi is the current Prime Minister of India, serving since May 26, 2014. He is a prominent leader of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and is also associated with the Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a right-wing Hindu nationalist organization.

Early Life and Career Born: September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat, India. Early Life: Modi was raised in a modest family and worked in his family's tea stall as a child.

He was deeply influenced by the RSS from a young age. Political Rise: Modi joined the BJP in 1987 and quickly rose through the ranks. He became the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001, a position he held until 2014.

His tenure as Chief Minister is noted for economic growth but also controversy due to the 2002 Gujarat riots.
